June 11, 2015, San Francisco, CA – Syserco hosted our first Charity Golf Tournament, benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area at the Presidio Golf Course in San Francisco. With over 130 participants, 25+ sponsors, and over 20 volunteers, we raised a grand total of $60,000 to donate to the children’s program.
Syserco had amazing support from many sponsors – 64 businesses in all. Among the many players who enjoyed the tournament were our Hole-in-One Challenge sponsors – Alerton, CS Bio, and DMG North. Other sponsors and participants included California Bank of Commerce, Bayside HVAC, Belimo, Bray, Dome Construction, EMBA Group, Gallina LLP, IBIS Networks, One Risk Group, Silicon Valley Mechanical, Southland Industries, TEECOM, UMI, Windy City Wire, and Woodruff Sawyer and Co.
The morning kicked off at the beautiful prominent golf course, the Presidio, in San Francisco, California, with morning festivities including Putting Contest, Mojito Bar, and Wine Pull. Our decorative Despicable Me, Life Size Jenga, and three Hole-in-One Challenges were the highlights of the course. We wrapped up the event with our cocktail networking reception.
We would like to thank each and every one of our sponsors, golf participants, and volunteers for contributing to this great cause and helping make this event a true success.
Our proceeds impacted over 900 children served by the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area each year, providing support that enables our local children to thrive and grow through programs and services focused on developing more college graduates, community leaders, and entrepreneurs in our local communities.
