2015 – Syserco congratulates Kilroy Realty Corporation (KRC) for earning two 2014 TOBY Awards for their flagship commercial office properties, 303 Second Street and 100 First Street in San Francisco, California. The Outstanding Building of the Year® (TOBY) Award honors the best of the best in commercial buildings and is presented by BOMA International.
The TOBY Awards recognizes commercial real estate facilities for their excellence in building management, operational efficiency, tenant retention, emergency planning, and community impact.
100 First Street (467,000 sqft) is home to Kilroy Realty’s Northern California headquarters. This LEED Gold, Twenty-Eight story class A office building was previously honored with a TOBY in 1991. Syserco has been a key partner with KRC, enhancing their excellence and efficiency in building performance through installation and ongoing proactive maintenance of an Alerton Energy Management Controls System. With the implementation of key energy reduction strategies and auto demand limiting programming we’ve assisted KRC in reaching their goals for operational & energy sustainability.
At 303 Second Street (nearly 1,000,000 sqft) Syserco completed a competitive retrofit providing a modern and fully integrated Alerton Energy Management Controls System to replace an obsolete legacy system. This two tower low rise spans an entire city block of prime SOMA property. With integrated lighting controls, water and energy efficiency strategies we supported KRC’s efforts to focus on becoming a leading proponent of LEED-certified design, development and property operation in the real-estate market.
